A while back I had the privilege of once again photographing for The Food Network Channel. This assignment was to photograph Chef Katsuji Tanabe and his food and prep. Chef Katsuji was about to apper on the program Beat Bobby Flay. Chef Katsuji was no stranger to TV having appeared on Top Chef a few times and other TV shows. Chef Katsuji has just opened a new restaurant in Cary NC with the LM Restaurants group. It is elevated Mexican Cuisine and the restaurant is called a’Verde Cocina +Tequila Library. Working with Chef Katsuji was areal eye-opener for me as I’ve never seen anyone chop food so fast! Now that the show has aired I can now show some of the images that I captured on the day.

Commercial Lifestyle Photography Raleigh NC

Last week I had the opportunity to do some Lifestyle photography for a company called Capital Games. They provide gaming equipment (Pool Tables Pinball machines, Arcade games etc) to bars around Raleigh NC and the rest of the triangle. Logistically it was a tough one as we had to find 8 models for this shoot. But it all worked out and my client loved the outcome.

I had the pleasure a while back of photographing Chef Saif Rahman, and his food, for the Beat Bobby Flay show on the Food Network Channel. Chef Raif was one of the contestants on the show. He is the Executive chef at Vidrio in downtown Raleigh NC. The restaurants food is inspired by flavors from the Mediterranean. If you get a chance to visit the restaurant the food is excellent and a real treat.

Commercial Photography in North Carolina

I’ve been privileged to photography many building projects over the years. From start of construction photography to architectural photography of finished buildings. But I don’t think I’ve ever photographed something on the scale of The Fenton Mixed Use Development in Cary. This is a 92-acre site which will contain shops, restaurants, apartments and even a hotel. The sheer scale of this is amazing and if you’ve driven along Cary Towne Boulevard to I-40 you can’t have missed it. So far we have photographed the groundbreaking, the topping ceremony and just recently the sign installation. I’m hoping to have many more opportunities for both construction photography and building photography at the location as it truly is spectacular.
