We've been doing a lot of shooting for Attorney At Law magazine recently. We've been photographing some of the most eminent lawyers throughout the Triangle. Last week however, the editor asked to meet us at North Carolina's Supreme Court. The person we were about to photograph was Justice Robin Hudson. This was a real thrill to photograph in such a beautiful building and such a prominent subject. The images from the shoot will be released in the next edition of Attorney At Law magazine, but with the editor's permission I just wanted to share my favorite shot from the day.

We were really pleased to once again be asked to photograph the food for the caterer's who appear in this years Southern Bride & Groom Magazine. Throughout the 3-day shoot we had the pleasure of working with some of the region's leading catering companies. The catering companies we photographed for were: Donovan's Dish, Rocky Top, Catering Works, Ladyfingers, Empire Eats, Parizade, Southern Harvest and The Garden on Millbrook.
This year the them of the shoot was "Small Plates" and some of the dishes that the restaurants and Catering companies produced were outstanding. Clients hiring these companies for their events in 2015 are going to have some fabulous menu items to choose from. The client liked the photos so much that they decided to lay it out over six spreads in the magazine.

We were so pleased to be asked to shoot the cover for this months "All About Beer" publication.
Although this shot looks straightforward it was technically a tricky shoot. Photographing glass is never easy and we had to pay particular attention to where the reflections appeared on the glassware. Anyone who has photographed glass will also know that it attracts dust and unwanted grease stains that need to be removed in post production. Although a challenging shoot it was a lot of fun and as an added bonus the beer tasted good!

Following on from my post last week about the amazing shoot we did, at Second Empire restaurant in Raleigh, I thought I'd give you a little behind the scenes look at what goes down in a busy restaurant during service.
Chef Scott and his team were fantastic as they produced dish after dish with amazing consistency. If you've ever eaten at this restaurant (and if you haven't you should) you will have tasted the delights that this team produce.
They allowed us full access during a packed evening at the restaurant and we had such a fun time and they all made us feel really welcome.
In my previous post you may have seen the final product that resulted from this shoot.
Enjoy..............
